How Our Repair and Refinishing Service Works
When it comes to the frame of your aluminum outdoor furniture, a new finish makes it look fresh and beautiful again. We take your patio furniture and strip it down, removing all the plastic and non-metallic parts, as well as any fabric or upholstery. Once it has been stripped, we sandblast each piece to SP10 level. This ensures that every bit of the old finish, as well as oxides and scale from weather and dirt, are completely removed. We then give everything a good wash and dry. Next is the addition of a primer, which is either anti-gas out or zinc anti-corrosion, depending on the metal we are working with. The primer is baked at 400 degrees and then allowed to cool. Finally, we apply a TGIG polyester color coating, bake it and cool it one more time. When the powder coating is finished, we can then replace all those worn out or broken parts and components and add new fabric upholstery.
